Clients: The Financial Brands Yamm Labs Works With, by Sector
Trusted by TATA AIA, HDFC Life, Axis Bank, Paytm Money and Aditya Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund.
Two notes on how this page is written. First, we name clients and sectors but not projects, results or figures, because client work in regulated finance is confidential and because we do not publish numbers we cannot show. Second, the descriptions under each sector are the kinds of work we do for that sector as a whole, drawn from our three service lines: brand identity and visual systems, signal strategy (positioning, messaging, presentations, film, social and content), and content and campaign design (integrated campaigns, product and NFO launches, corporate literature, shareholder communications). Our approach is set out in the Yamm Labs manifesto.
Life insurance: TATA AIA Life Insurance, HDFC Life
Clients: TATA AIA Life Insurance, HDFC Life. ICICI Prudential is named in our published work.
Sector: life insurers regulated by IRDAI, selling term, savings, unit-linked, participating, pension and annuity products through agents, brokers, bank partners and direct digital channels.
Kind of work: brand identity and visual systems, product launch communication, campaign design, explainer films, sales and partner collateral, and corporate literature, all built around IRDAI’s advertising rules.
What we typically do for life insurance: insurance communication has to make a long, conditional promise feel clear and trustworthy without overstating it. We build brand systems and campaign templates that carry the insurer’s registered name, the product UIN and benefit conditions as designed elements rather than late additions, so that every adaptation from a hoarding to a partner’s WhatsApp creative inherits them. For product launches we produce the master creative, the explainer film, the benefit illustration layouts, the channel kit for agents and bank partners, and the training deck, in a sequence that gets the master approved first. For brand work we help an insurer look confident and distinctive where the category defaults to sameness, because IRDAI governs claims and disclosures, not identity. Our insurance marketing question hub covers the questions we hear most.
Banking: Axis Bank
Client: Axis Bank.
Sector: scheduled commercial banks regulated by RBI, communicating to retail, corporate and wealth customers across branches, digital channels, relationship managers and public media.
Kind of work: brand and sub-brand identity, visual systems and guidelines, campaign design, product and service communication, presentations and stakeholder communication, branch and digital collateral.
What we typically do for banking: a bank’s communication has to work at enormous scale and stay consistent across hundreds of branches, dozens of products and several regulators’ expectations at once. We build visual systems with the rules written down: how a product is named and presented, where rates and charges sit, how a sub-brand relates to the master brand, and what a relationship manager may and may not adapt. For campaigns we design the master creative and the format family that descends from it, with RBI’s transparency expectations on rates, charges and language treated as inputs. For the corporate side we design investor presentations, annual report sections and shareholder communication. Our guide to rebranding a bank without losing trust and the bank branding question hub describe the thinking.
Wealth and broking: Paytm Money
Client: Paytm Money.
Sector: SEBI-registered brokers, investment platforms and mutual fund distribution apps serving retail investors through mobile-first products.
Kind of work: brand identity and visual systems, product and feature launch communication, campaign design, explainer films, in-app and social creative, and investor education material.
What we typically do for wealth and broking: investment apps compete on trust and clarity, and their communication is governed by SEBI’s advertisement code and, where they distribute mutual funds, AMFI’s rules. We build systems that keep the app’s voice consistent between a brand film, a feature launch and a compliance-heavy product page. For launches we produce the master creative, the film, the in-app screens and the social family, with the standard warning, risk disclosures and distributor lock-ups designed in. For education we design content that explains a product without indicating returns, which is the line SEBI and AMFI draw. The trading, investment and payment app branding question hub goes deeper.
Asset management: Aditya Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund
Client: Aditya Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund. Mirae Asset is named in our published work.
Sector: SEBI-regulated asset management companies running mutual fund schemes, communicating with investors, distributors and institutions.
Kind of work: NFO and scheme launch communication, brand and scheme identity systems, explainer films, factsheets and investor presentations, distributor kits, campaign design and corporate literature.
What we typically do for asset management: an NFO gives an AMC a window of at most fifteen calendar days, so the work happens in the thirty days before it. We build the positioning, one hero visual, the explainer film and a collateral system where every asset descends from an approved master that already carries the standard warning, the risk-o-meter at prescribed colours and the document pointer. We assemble the distributor kit that AMFI’s rules make the only creative most MFDs will use. For the brand as a whole we design identity and guidelines that let an AMC differentiate on clarity and system rather than on claims it cannot make. See the NFO Launch Kit, our NFO launch communication agency page and the mutual fund, AMC and NFO marketing question hub.
Wealthtech: Centricity Wealthtech
Client: Centricity Wealthtech.
Sector: technology platforms serving wealth managers, distributors and their clients, often selling to both institutions and end investors.
Kind of work: brand identity and naming, positioning and messaging, visual systems, investor and sales presentations, product explainer films, website and microsite design.
What we typically do for wealthtech: a wealthtech brand has to be credible to a regulated institution and clear to an individual investor at the same time. We start with positioning, the single sentence that says what the platform does that the incumbents do not, then build an identity and a visual system that works on a pitch deck, a product interface and a partner’s co-branded material. We design the investor presentation and the sales deck as a family, and produce explainer films that make a technical product legible in a minute. Our guide to investor pitch deck design for BFSI and the fintech startup branding question hub cover the usual questions.
Research: Roundtable Insights
Client: Roundtable Insights.
Sector: research and insight firms whose product is a point of view, sold to financial and corporate clients through reports, presentations and events.
Kind of work: brand identity, visual systems for reports and data, presentation design, content design and publishing templates.
What we typically do for research: a research brand is judged by how its findings look on the page. We design identity systems with the report, the chart and the slide as first-class components: typographic hierarchy for long documents, a data visualisation language that stays consistent across authors, and presentation templates that a team can use without a designer. The result is a body of work that reads as one firm rather than as a set of individual analysts.
PPAP Desk: automotive quality documentation for Manu Auto India
Client: Manu Auto India.
Sector: automotive component suppliers who must submit Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) documentation to Tier-1 and OEM customers under AIAG PPAP 4th Edition and IATF 16949.
Kind of work: PPAP Desk is a separate Yamm Labs service, unrelated to our brand work. It produces outsourced Level 3 PPAP documentation: the ballooned print and characteristic register, Process Flow Diagram, PFMEA, Control Plan, process and setup sheets, checking-aid list and gauge specifications, incoming inspection standard, report formats for MSA, dimensional and capability studies, the PSW draft and the package index. The supplier keeps the trial run, physical measurement, capability studies, Gage R&R, lab testing, samples, master sample and IMDS; Yamm Labs never generates measurement data and never signs the PSW.
What we have done: PPAP Desk has delivered more than 50 PPAP reports for Manu Auto India. The service starts at ₹2,000 per report, with no retainer and no software setup, and begins with a two-part, five-day pilot on two live parts. Details are on the PPAP documentation service page, the PPAP documentation FAQ and the APQP, PFMEA and Control Plan question hub.
How we work with a financial brand
Yamm Labs is founder-led and based in DLF Garden City, Sector 92, Gurugram, serving India and the Gulf, with international clients. The pattern across sectors is the same:
- Positioning before design. One sentence that says why the brand or product exists, agreed before any layout is drawn.
- One system, many formats. A master creative or identity system from which every asset descends, so consistency is structural rather than policed.
- Compliance as a design input. SEBI, IRDAI and RBI requirements designed into templates from the first draft, so review is a check rather than a redesign. Our compliance-creative cheat sheet summarises what each regulator governs.
- Distinctiveness where the rules allow it. Regulators govern claims and disclosures, not colour, type, voice or layout, and that is where a financial brand can differ.
We do not publish project results, testimonials or pricing for agency work. If you want to see how we think, read the manifesto and the Signal journal; if you want to see work relevant to your sector, ask on a call.

Does Yamm Labs publish case studies with results?
No. Client work in regulated financial services is confidential, and we do not publish figures, testimonials or outcomes we cannot show in full. This clients page names the brands and sectors and describes, in general terms, the kind of work we do for each sector. On a call we can walk through work that is relevant to your sector and brief.
What sectors does Yamm Labs specialise in?
Fintech and BFSI: life and general insurance (IRDAI-regulated), banks and NBFCs (RBI-regulated), asset management companies and NFOs (SEBI-regulated), brokers, investment apps and wealthtech platforms, and research firms serving financial clients. Yamm Labs is a design-led brand agency founded in Gurugram in 2017, and its creative work is built to pass SEBI, IRDAI and RBI review.
What is PPAP Desk and why is it on a financial agency’s client page?
PPAP Desk is Yamm Labs’ separate outsourced PPAP documentation service for automotive component suppliers, producing Level 3 packages to AIAG PPAP 4th Edition and IATF 16949 from the supplier’s released drawing, route, gauge list and measured data. It has delivered more than 50 PPAP reports for Manu Auto India and starts at ₹2,000 per report with no retainer. It is listed here because Manu Auto India is a Yamm Labs client, in a different line of business.
